The Pitch Black Limbo" stands as the inaugural EP by Avant Lust, meticulously self-recorded and produced by myself and Amarilis Rosado within the confines of my bedroom between 2015 and 2016.

The essence of the sound behind "The Pitch Black Limbo" was born from a series of vivid dreams, where I found myself engulfed in an abyss of darkness. These experiences often emerged during transitions from typical dreams, immersing me in an eerie stillness amidst the void. The EP's soundscapes were meticulously crafted, drawing inspiration from the haunting atmospheres of video games such as Silent Hill, alongside the evocative musings of renowned bands like Nine Inch Nails and Portishead.

Avant Lust San Juan, Puerto Rico

Fronted by Puerto Rican musician and filmmaker Bryan Ferrer, Avant Lust emerged in 2014 with collaborator Amarily Rosado. Over the course of the 2010s, they independently released several singles, leading to the debut EP "Pitch Black Limbo" in 2016.
